No, the small dogs (35lbs or less) have their own room, away from the room of medium dogs (35 - 50lbs).

Redmond was originally built with 2 rooms, so we could host bigger dogs in their own area, we just haven’t used that room until now.

Small dogs are 35lbs or less.

Medium dogs are 35 - 50lbs.

We will never mix the smaller and medium dogs. If you have a small and medium dog they will not be in the same room, for safety reasons.

For now we are accepting reservations between 9am-5pm. If we have enough interest the hours will expand.

The small dog daycare room is open 7am-7pm.

Pick up after 5pm is $1/minute because our team members need to wait for you to arrive and get paid for every minute they’re working.

We accept dogs who are well behaved and calm, this is why we only accept dogs 2yrs+. We are not the right fit for high energy or severely anxious medium dogs.

Just like with the small dogs, if your dog is not the right fit for our group that’s ok. We will let you know right away if we see any behaviors we’re concerned about.

Your dog’s 1st visit is considered their behavioral analysis. At Pickles Playland we believe a structured environment can help you and your dog live a peaceful life together.

Your dog’s behavioral analysis is 4 hours, unlike most daycares who take less than 1 hour to evaluate each dog, allowing us to get to know them and their needs. During this process we text you photos and an update. When the analysis is completed we call you to go over any questions you may have.

During the behavioral analysis we evaluate your dog on their comfort in daycare, their ability to share toys/beds/attention/treats, how well we can physically handle them, and their ability to stay calm in a kennel for boarding.

When your dog passes their analysis you’ll take home a report card and swag bag welcoming you to the Pickle Family! At that point you can decide a membership level or tell us during your dog’s next visit.

Behavioral Analyses are $20. If your dog passes they’re welcome to stay for the rest of the day at no additional cost.

We do not offer half day pricing at this time. That could change in the future and if it does we will let you know. Medium dogs cost more than small dogs. This is because unlike most daycares we only accept a safe number of dogs in each room per day. We do not overcrowd the dogs by accepting every dog who walks into the door.

We charge $10 less per visit, for the clients who prebook the entire month because this helps us plan in advance. We also send you a FREE texted pupdate during each visit as a thank you.

The first 30 days is your dog’s trial run. This means you do not pay a membership, unlike the small dogs, until 30 days from your dog’s behavioral analysis. We will automatically charge your annual standard membership after the 30 day trial unless you tell us not to.

If you have a dog 35lbs or less who comes to daycare your membership will apply to both dogs. You do not need a separate membership for your small and medium dogs.

We always make safety a priority. We now have more large kennels for evacuation preparation and a large kennel in our transport van in case of veterinary visit needs.

As with the small dogs we ask that you keep us updated on your dog’s medical needs as the age.

The medium dog room is where our small dogs board at night time (not during the day).

• Kennels and the bed where our team member sleeps at night.

• Raised water bowls for safe drinking practices.

• Size appropriate toys, dogs are always monitored.

• Dog beds for lounging and cuddles.

• Cleaning supplies and belly bands for the male dogs (to prevent them from urinating on anyone or trying to mount other dogs).
